Alexis is an ex-pupil of the Sheffield school of excellence where he studied Film in his spare time. He also spent nine months in Japan playing for Fuji-Film where he perfected his Japanese. He married Andy Vincett's sister Karen in June 2006. He works for Docklands' main sponsor Aspect Capital.
