Ian first coached the team in 1993 and has the grey hairs to prove it. He was awarded the accolade of Coach of the Year in 1996 after steering the club to the Division II title. The award also recognised his commitment to the England Junior program where he was head coach for nine years. Ian was the England Senior Mens Head Coach until 2005. He is now the GM Men's coach for the Sitting Volleyball squad and is busy preparing for the 2012 Paralympics.
