Steve began training with Docklands in the 2003/04 season but continued to play for Cambridge. He transferred to Docklands at the start of the 2004/05 season. Steve is the first teacher/middle blocker to play for Docklands since the legendary Steve Vale played for Malory 2/Crofton in the 80s and 90s.
